TSC AIS Promo Video

TSC AIS Promo Video

The Challenge:
This video was created for my employer, American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) www.aaae.org. The Transportation Security Clearinghouse (TSC) www.tsc-csc.com (a non-profit arm of AAAE) wanted to create a promotional video to advertise their Automated Integration Services (AIS) program. The AIS provides a simple, automated process for users to combine biometric and biographic data into a single web-based messaging architecture. Since the AIS program works “behind the scenes” through secured technologies, video footage was not available.

The Solution:
Because video footage was not available, I had to rely solely on motion graphics for the AIS promo. A brochure had already been created and established a “brand style” for the program, which I based my design concept off. To spark the most interest, I decided to divide the video into “four visual parts.”

These four visual parts included:

  1. Motion intense buzz words to grab attention and draw viewers in by making them “read”
  2. Floating images and words to represent key aspects of AIS and to heighten interest
  3. Strong “The Next Generation…” phrase surrounded by futuristic motion graphics that makes viewer think “What’s this all about?”
  4. Company logo reveal with website URL to answer previous question raised in viewer’s mind

Final delivery of the promo video included airing on a weekly news show I edit and produce, on the company website, through email marketing campaigns, and a variety of social networks.
